About Mission of Compassion

Since 1984 Mission Of Compassion has been strategically working in Europe to spread the Gospel through church planting, crusades, short term mission teams, humanitarian relief, helping to provide finance to build deperately needed church buildings, and developing Bible schools.

Our main thrust is both Eastern and Western Europe, where LaVere ministers alongside pastors of local churches to help develop and expand their outreach.  

Working in conjunction with International Victory Bible Institute in Tulsa, OK (an arm of Victory Christian Center, from which LaVere and Beth were sent as missionaries to Europe 24 years ago), he is also helping to open up new Bible Schools throughout Europe. 

The above pastors are, left to right: Tamas Raki - Miscolc, Hungary; LaVere; Sergei Baluk - Western Ukraine; Daniel - Director for Hungarian Deutch Reformed Church who contributed much help in the beginning of our work in Eastern Europe.  We have worked closely with these men since 1991 and have rejoiced to see them blessed as their ministries mature, expand and reach out to touch not only their cities but their nations.

One of LaVere's greatest thrills is seeing the constant demonstration of God's healing power as he helps to bring the gospel to people who have no hope outside of Christ.
